Welcome to the Curriculum Department

The Lincoln Park Public School District offers a rigorous, aligned curriculum designed to ensure that all Lincoln Park students are college and career ready. Our mission promotes “Educational excellence for every student in every class every day”.

Through an aligned curriculum, a clear and consistent progression of content, instruction and assessment exists across all grades and courses of study. Common high-level expectations for student learning are consistent across the district. All grade level expectations build on the prior year’s work and prepare the student for the future.

Presently our Reading, Writing and Math Curriculums are fully aligned to the Common Core Content Standards. Please feel free to review these by clicking on the “Curriculum Maps” button on the left hand side of this page. During the summer of 2013, Social Studies and Science will be realigned to the new college and career standards.

Every Lincoln Park Public School District building has met the stringent requirements for North Central Accreditation and gained district-wide accreditation in May of 2012.
